When a move does not pay off
Not every environment belongs on Hetzner. Sometimes it is enough to right-size resources in your current cloud and switch off what is unused. If that is the better path, our comparison says so.
If only part of your environment makes sense to move, we tell you that openly too.
What happens next
If a move pays off, the assessment becomes a migration plan: planned, tested and with a way back at every step. After that, we run the new environment for you. How a migration works is described on our migration and onboarding page.

Is the cloud cost check really free?
Yes. The cost check is free and comes with no obligation, neither to a migration nor to managed operations.
What documents do you need?
A recent invoice or a usage export, for example from AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management or GCP Billing, and a short description of your applications and environment. We do not need access to your systems.
How quickly do we get the result?
Usually within a few business days, depending on the size of your environment. We reply to your request within one business day.
What about existing reservations or savings plans?
We include them in the comparison. The timing of a possible move can be planned so that commitments you have already paid for are not lost.
Do you also look at our AI API costs?
Yes. Send us the usage export or invoice from your AI providers along with your cloud bill. The cost check is an analysis of these invoices and exports: we break the spend down by task and propose what can move to a cheaper model or to a model running on your own server, and what is better left with the provider.
Do we have to move afterwards?
No. The comparison is yours, and the decision is yours. If a move does not pay off, we tell you.
